Kevin Cameron, Founder and CEO

A Sacramento native, Kevin is a published author and highly decorated combat Veteran who has honorably served his country for nearly 14 years.  Kevin Cameron’s primary mission in the army was training and leading Soldiers as a part of the military’s Military Working Dog program.  Kevin has been recognized as one of the top 1/10 of a percent of all leaders by receiving the Army’s prestigious Audie Murphy award, as well as, numerous other medals and decorations.
Kevin's career was cut short during his last deployment when he was wounded in action as a direct result of enemy fire.   After receiving the Purple Heart, he was honorably discharged in 2011, and that is when he opened the doors to Alpha K9.

Justine Borghello; Public Relations/

Justine joined the Alpha K9 family in 2015 and is already making a huge difference. Whether it's contacting our sponsors or tackling multiple projects at once, Justine makes it so the day to day workings of the organization run smoothly. You can often find her in the corporate office with her nose to the grindstone and her two dogs, Eva and Hannah, at her feet.

Starting her animal career with the SPCA, Justine quickly moved up the ranks and soon fell in love with training and behavior leading to her position as trainer for the local shelter dogs. She then extended her career by working as a veterinary technician, first at a local small animal clinic and then moving on to working with primates at UC Davis. Her love for animals has taken her far, but her passion for dogs and training has brought her to Alpha K9 and we are proud to have her as part of our staff.
